Divination

Here the word power is considered as a level of achievement, or a position of specific and direct accomplishment.

After having gone through the lessons and acquired the necessary skills.

Sure I think that people already have powers and those powers just need to be stimulated.

But we still were raised to believe that we can't do certain things without being trained to do them and because of this we impose limitations on ourselves.

People also use the excuse of their faith/belief to have received a message from God.  Considering, of course, that their faith alone was important

enough to something that created trillions of planets to communicate directly to this faithful person about which dress to wear or what road to take on vacation.

There's God again keeping score and following you around.  Why work for anything when you can just get it for free from daddy?

I might not sound like I'm talking about divination but I am.

To receive a message or messages from the divine which is most commonly associated with something godlike at the very least.

Maybe to you it's not possible to do that. Well what about you?  Then you work with your powers and don't assign it to a God. That'll be fine.

Blame yourself. It's OK.

Divination can be found in all cultures as a way to receive communication from a higher power through some form of object: Bones, stones, cards, coins, tealeaves, weather,

animals and the list goes on.

Once again, you were created with more power than you use or are even aware of.

This has value in certain rites (rituals) described by many authors advising the reader (person reading the cards or tealeaves) to assume a different mindset and even a

different form prior to actually performing a reading.

One way is ask an angel to watch over this operation that truth may be discovered and that the medium reflects actuality/reality rather than some form of lie, illusion or deception.

Each form of divination also has its method(s) of working and in many cases it takes years of training to actually get to the point of a thorough

knowledge to have the ability to accurately interpret the message that's received through the medium (cards. bones, etc)

Here you'll notice also that the word medium is used in two ways. One being the person reading or divining and the other being the type of

method used to do a reading.

In the beginning it is advisable to test the answers in relation to the question(s) asked.

Do not be overly general with your question(s) either. This leads to total obscurity and generalized answers that could apply to anything.

It's also advisable to try many forms of divination to see which is the most accurate, for you, from the very start.

Which one? Well flip a coin.

The very first question needs to be specific so that it's easy to see whether the issue was actually addressed or just some hodge-podge of unrelated information that has nothing to

do with the answer.

You'll know because the words well it could mean will come into play.

In the beginning you need to consider your present level of training and accept when a question was not properly answered.

Then get on with it.

To come to a level of understanding with divination it needs to be experimented with again and again without asking life changing questions.

For instance: what kind of reading will you first use? Tealeaves? The Tarot? Runes? I Ching?

(I Ching; where you ask the same question six times and throw three coins six times and draw either a solid or broken line, after each throw, to

form a hexagram (six lines)concerning the answer and then consult a book to see what the statement for that particular hexagram is.)

The first question I asked this oracle (I Ching) is What if I mess/screw with you? Then I checked the answer.

The I Ching first answer to me was ,"Be careful as you step upon the tail of the dragon, etc.)

So I considered this to be an answer that applied to the question that I'd asked and continued to use the I Ching as a more accurate form of divination, for me.

Establishing a personal relationship and a feel for the type of divination that you have decided to work with is very important to avoid being misguided in the answers to your

questions.

I never advise anyone to allow a set of cards, stones, bones or whatever to decide for them and tell them what to do.

Divination, in my opinion, is for general advice and guidance, consideration and contemplation.

Not to ask your mommy whether you should do something or not.  But moreover to get an idea what might happen, if you did something or not.

Also, much like archery, in that the skill of the archer will determine the proximity of the arrow to the bullseye.

A well-trained reader can be very specific with dates, numbers and descriptions of persons, their behavior patterns and looks/characteristics and

even go so far as to tell/predict possible/likely upcoming events.

But as I've told many, prior to the reading If you want to change the future then I reach out with one finger and push a pencil.  There, I just changed it.

What you're reading is a potential/likely future. Nothing is ever written in stone.

For those of you that might be thinking it, I did this prior to the Terminator series being filmed.

The skill is, once again, an achieved Power to communicate, through a medium, to a more knowledgeable (exterior) entity other than your everyday self.

I could be your own subconscious power controlling the outcome but many people feel more comfortable seeing it as something outside of them.

Whatever works.

Remember that even if you're told the truth you still need to be able to understand the words that were spoken and determine what is important and what's not important.

One last thing about divination; if you can't silence yourself you'll never be able to listen.
