Ansuz also Ass or Os (Being of the Aesir)

The Aesir are known as the principle Gods of the Norse.  It's a collective group of the hierarchy of the Gods.

When the rune Ansuz comes to rise in a reading it's considered to have the meaning of receiving from a higher power.

Basically, to receive, from any source at all. Consider it a direct link with the transformation property, gift, and ability.

Directly concerning a communicated message of change, progress, and transformation. Or council with the wise, advice from greater wisdom.

Mercury as both a planet and God is also related by color (yellow), as with the aspect of messenger which associates here also, in that he was

fabled to assist Loki (and visa-versa) in sending messages, signs, warnings, signals, to those significant or deemed worthy.

This could also be seen as a mixing of natures of the lower with the higher in the aspect of self-Self as it relates from the conscious to the

sub-conscious. From the more base-self to the Higher-Self. The physical self with the spiritual Self.

The capitalization of the letter indicates a greater than basic meaning.

As within each of us lay these inherent traits, waiting to be accentuated, by our motives needs desires thoughts and actions.

Revealing that which we have chosen to become.

 What we chose is, of course, determined by what we have learned and what our conditioning in life has been up until now.
