Weapon: The Scepter
For centuries the big stick has been used to display the boss from a distance. The difference between a scepter and a wand is the size and use.
In working with magic there are basically two sizes of temple wand and then also two basic sizes of scepters.
With the wand one is short enough to be placed comfortably upon an alter and one is long enough to lean against it easily and with the scepter the lengths are more extreme and
the use is slightly different with the scepter being a more effective power with the acquisition of achievement and honors.
If you buy one somewhere you actually don't own it until you have earned the right to do so and when you have earned the right how will you know that you have?
The item actually stands for that which it takes to properly attain and wield it.
Much like anything else what something stands for and how it is actually used are not the same thing.
The scepter is taken out for reasons of importance and potency of impact.
It makes a statement that what is about to occur or be communicated is of particularly high significance and wielded by the one who has earned the right to hold the higher power.
How it has been used and applied in the history of mankind is pretty obvious and the implications of having a greater power as seen from a distance are also of some significance
but the most important part that I see with it is that the dang thing don't work till you learn how to turn it on.
Otherwise it's just a long pretty pole with neat stuff carved into it and on top of it.
