Animal: Eagle
This is the second of the four times that the Eagle comes to rise in the cards and the associations are different for each card as we have already seen the basic background of the
predatory bird.
The many different names of eagles given by their predatory behaviors in this particular case the behavior of the animal, is one of self-dominance and preservation.
You never see the eagle as a weak and unable animal or one that can't forage for its food and survival but more of an animal that can take care of itself and its young when
necessary.
I could research a great many stories that involve the eagle and what it has brought to help leaders conquer nations or the messages it has brought to soothsayers as a part of the
historical past of the world of man but this would be all a bunch of fluff to fill in the books pages and worthless.
Here the point of the great bird would be more as how it applies to you controlling your own future and creating your own destiny.
Watch the eagle when it is hunting and see that it is focused and driven to achieve its target and when something gets in its way and the bird cannot overpower its adversary it
moves on to the next available target to eventually achieve its goals to survive.
Even this bird knows when to let go and give up but that doesn't mean that it quits, no it doesn't quit or it would die.
It still continues the quest but in another more attainable area that it can achieve the capture of its prey through drive and determination that the animal would perish without.
