10_09............Drug: Cocaine

It's funny that something that grows wild in nature can have such a high price and addictive affect on people.

It's one of the only drugs an animal will use until dead and humans emulate this same behavior with it.

I can spend hours writing on how cocaine ruins and affects you body and nervous system and that would be very educational for you to read about but the facts as they are placed

in these works are not actually about those details.

What is more important is how a person can allow an object like cocaine to control their lives and behavior patterns.

This is one to stay clear from and if experimentation is involved watch what happens to those that use this drug on a regular basis and how they run their lives down into

desperation and eventual ruin because if you use this drug on a regular basis this is what will always occur, aside from the heart stopping and physical death.

It directly affects the central nervous system and after a very short time the thoughts of the user will continuously return to getting more of the drug. That's why it is so expensive

because people that start to use it on a regular basis will not stop until they have actually killed themselves.

Now there are many people that say they have used it for many years and it has not had this affect on them but the truth is that they have decided to exert enough control of the

usage to justify to themselves that this is ok to do but both physically and spiritually it is not ok to do and I speak from the voice of experience, many years of experience.

I have seen thousands addicted to cocaine in my lifetime and it is never a pretty or glamorous sight to see people so desperate to get more.

As mentioned in a prior chapter this is a dragon that you will not kill but one that you can get the reigns on and control if you ever do find yourself addicted to the thing.

I do not like to expose the fact that I have felt the sting of the needle a thousand times myself and had to get the reigns on this dragon several times in my own life and these were

hard times for a street kid like me to handle and get through but eventually I have assisted many others to beat this monster with the knowledge that I had gain by walking through

this dark night.

It seems obvious to me why it is here in the card of fortune as it can make or break fortunes and people can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and up heave their entire lives

and families and still want more of it, right up to and including the death of the body.

I have said it before that it is the personal selfishness that drives a person deeper into addictions and keeping to their own self-destructive behavior patterns.

They find excuses to keep driving themselves deeper into a pit because somehow life has done them wrong, in their opinion and since there is no way that they can see to right

these wrongs than it is ok to cause themselves more pain and anxiety.

Get a grip, get a hold, look at what is really important for and in your life and if you are not satisfied with what you are or have then think of what it will take to change things to a

better life for you and please try to make a positive difference in some way.

If you find yourself in this place please leave that place. It will always be there for you to fall back into but for now try to rise above the destructive things and get back into the

creative things that can benefit your life and the lives of others.

Sure I could go on with all of the medicinal properties of the drug and how it helps with surgery and certain extreme nervous conditions as a positive aspect and there is always the

fact that it has been used in it's raw form for centuries to keep people going where they would have otherwise fallen, not to mention the uses in wars for the ongoing mindset of

the conquering power to keep their soldiers on edge and awake but these are all mute facts compared to what it will do to your body and mind if you begin to allow it to run and

control your thoughts and life.
