12_03..............Power: Crystal Gazing, Talismans, The Great Work
This section is going to be a bit lengthy due to the fact that there are so many details involved with the issues here that one section of a chapter cannot do them all justice since an
entire book could be written for each.
Now with any of the occult arts there are creatures and parts of yourself that you can call upon to actually have some effective natured works.
I mean it's not like you just walk up to a crystal ball and see the next millennium day by day, well some people do, but for the most part the true occultist learns the secret names
for their inner selves or the entity that is going to assist and gets things done with an intended purpose and directed reasoning.
Stare into a crystal and let your self relax and just look into the glass and an effect does happen to you.
Now if you take it lightly and decide before looking that you will see nothing then that's most likely what you will see, nothing.
I would tell you that crystal gazing is like drawing a paining or creating your own movie show but that's not what I want to say either. It's more like if you just relax you will see
what you see.
To my observations the images that enter the mind do not form as little object6s inside the crystal itself, like you see on The Wizard of Oz but more that the images flash to the
mind and to me they are fractions of a second of images that I have to decipher either as they flash by or later I have to recall what I saw, if anything and theirs always something,
it's just whether or not I choose to pay attention to it.
I have looked into the crystal to see images and seen them but not the way you would think. I would only say it is difficult if not nearly impossible to describe because it is but I
can say it's nothing like you see in the movies.
I think one consideration is that of reflection in itself in relation to you staring into something that is basically pure reflection you could see it as a clear globe looking into a clear
globe (well we are a bit tainted) but this is more the idea.
Talisman: The talisman transfers data from whence it was created to where it is to transfer whatever the intended data may be.
When I first began consciously using talismans and studying how to make them I though how cool it would be to make them for luck and get a boatload of cash from it but I
learned that it doesn't work that way as well as it works if you plant one somewhere and them forget about it and they seem to work better for me if I do them for others without
saying anything or taking any credit afterwards.
The reason I say consciously using talismans is that talismans are actually used by us on a very regular basis every day.
This is where you actually give yourself enough credit for the daily tasks that you actually do accomplish each day.
Notice your value and decide your purpose. Commit to a goal and stay the course.
The Great Work: This is most easily stated as the reason that you are here on this planet and the function that you serve with your existence in the eventual grand scheme of things.
Like with Nostradamus there are many things that couldn't be predicted concerning his longevity into these centuries which was not actually predicted but was set as a future time
and either left at that or muddled in a century.
Who could see how far into the future his quatrains would survive for the attributions they have been given in these days and days to come as more events surface to be attributed
to his visions and writings?
As the writing of the works were a part of his life so to is each and everything that you do within your life a part of the Great Work that you are set here for.
This would pretend that there is a plan set out and the following of that is the work.
That would also assume predestination and if that is the case the pointless attitude once again comes to rise since everything is preplanned then what's the point of doing anything
since it will end up the same anyway?
This is not the true viewpoint of the Great Work. The viewpoint is what you will carry on the path of enlightenment, not only carry for yourself but carry for others also.
Not only realizing how you can cause an effect but also actively achieving the greatest amount of a result through directed actions for focused reasons that you have determined
worthy for some form of greater good.
Teaching your child how to swim or helping a stranger push their stalled car out of traffic.
It's commonplace for people all the time and doesnÕt really have to be broken down to be understood or happen on a regular basis.
People find their niche in life and decide to accept it as how they plan to live out there life and this for them is their Great Work or part of it.
What you have sacrificed and are willing to sacrifice has much to do with the outcome(s) of your work.
The man that carved out the faces in Mount Rushmore started that project when he was sixty and you could look at that work actually done by him and 400 workers to be his
Great Work but this was only a fraction of his work over the span of his lifetime (John-Gutzon Borglum) and the inspirations that he sparked and will forever ignite thoughts of
what one person can achieve in a few years of their life and give rise in the heart that we are all capable of great things no matter what our age may be as long as you are alive
there is time to achieve and accomplish.
With Nostradamus you see that he sacrificed his ink, paper, candles, time and I am certain that he had much more that he personally sacrificed on order to get these writings done for the vision of others and their futures.
The reasoning behind the things that you are doing may not always seem to align with some noble quest of significant magnitude
but as Ghandi said: "Almost everything you do is insignificant but it is very important that you do it."
As we are so often unaware of the upcoming details will mix with that which we have done to create something that we are surprised by or really didn't expect to happen as your
work chain-reacts and resounds through the chambers of history through time ad infinitum.
It is common not to see the final results (fruits) of our Great Work as they will often ripen long after we have planted our seeds and left them to grow and all we can be sure of is
that it was the best and most we could do for them and that their growth will occur naturally.
