Wand or Caduceus
We are all familiar with the magician waving their magic wand to cast a spell or transform something into another.
Communicating the concept of the use of a tool for the direction of energy in relation towards a specified reason.
The wand, staff, or scepter has signified power for most all known cultures in history.
The caduceus as a wand, is a staff with two intertwined serpents wrapping around it and is commonly shown with a set of wings at the very top.
This wand is still used by today's medical doctors to symbolize a practitioner of the healing sciences.
It is displayed around the world in hospitals, clinics, and on the business cards of many working in the field of medicine.
In the preceding chapter we covered the dagger as a symbol of focused energy, in association with the element of air.
Air, having a direct relation to thought or thinking itself. When we ad a desire to thought we bring to form what is called the intention or will.
This relation is seen as a fiery aspect in the spiritual nature. In relation to building a house, you can think about it for years and it'll still never get built.
But once you make the decision to get up and do what's necessary, then you've made the transformation from Air to Fire.
From the basics of thinking to actually doing something physically.
A directly, intended specific and pre-determined action. Not random. From active, formative thought to active, physical motion and finally creation.
In this way your (once imagined) house actually becomes manifest and built in the physical form.
Here we look at the wand in its function as a tool that's used to direct the intention or will of its user.
Do you really need a wand? Can't you just use your finger?
The conductor of any orchestra uses a wand (baton) and it's used to show the different members of the orchestra several things while a musical piece is being executed (played
by them) and although all of the musicians are competent artists separately, but if the conductor doesn't show the appropriate tempo and give the necessary indications, during
the orchestra's performance, the musical piece will fail to meet it's intended mix, in a variety of ways and thus be performed inadequately.
In relation to the composers original intention for how the music was to be played and to sound.
Anyone can pick up a stick and call it a wand. Like anyone can pick up a baton and say they are a conductor.
Part of the effective use of what you use is the item itself. The other part is the knowledge of the user of the item.
Then there is the actual amount of energy conveyed (or directed) during the use of the item.
This information is given for comparative realities. Just understanding how to build a house does not automatically give you the strength and skills to build that same house.
What is necessary? Consider this. If you plan to use a wand, for some reason, you should be aware that the most effective wand is personally handcrafted.
Made by the person that intends to use it.
It's an item that's specifically and intentionally created and customized, by its user, to show the nature and training of the person that is going to use it.
A wand can be purchased in a store, but if this is the case, it should be viewed as purchasing a lawn mower that doesn't have a spark plug or gasoline.
There are those that will offer you a fully charged wand but you might want to know how he or she charged it with your power.
As mentioned earlier each being can be seen with a different amount of light or energy. Well the fact is that you are a being.
This can also be related to a wavelength or vibration. Just ask any scientist. Color and tone also fall into these categories.
For your consideration and contemplation. Things that are alike are similar but they are not the same. Similar.
Angle and Angel for one instance, musician and magician as another example.
You will hear that it's universal power and that ones the same as the other. I do not agree.
Universal and universe are terms lightly used by the inexperienced to convince others that they know what they're talking about, as I see it.
I'll make suggestions about what to consider but I won't tell you what to believe. That's up to you.
It's considered that the user of any magical tool develops a personal relationship with the item that's being used. Creating a link between the item and the user.
You may wonder how it is that you can develop a personal relationship with an item that isn't alive and that doesn't think.
I find this curiosity pretty funny, when the same person wondering this spends thousands of dollars and hours buying, washing, detailing and admiring their car or motorcycle
and if it gets a scratch, dent or dirt on it they see it as a personal offense.
They have turned this item into an important extension of themselves. But still can't see how it's done with a wand, cup or any other temple item.
That's because this is how we're trained from childhood to feel and think about certain objects that we are required to have and maintain in our lives in this era of our social
evolution it's absolutely common to think this way. These days it isn't uncommon to judge a person by what they drive.
Even by what they wear, their shoes, hair and clothing. We consider wealth and poverty in this way.
No, this personal relationship that I speak of is development and direction of energy.
It exists within each of us and it's necessary to transfer a part of your Self which is used to infuse (mix with) or charge the item.
Once again I'll give reference to the Bible in the creation of Adam and Eve story. (From dust you were created and to dust you shall return.)
When you look at the very first act of creation you'll notice that the breath is applied.
You'll also notice, as it's written, that words were spoken. See it as, original intention or decision was brought to the formation of creation, manifestation or to exist, by these
fundamental actions. It has been stated that mankind is created in the image of God also.
Albeit later on in the book, however, the point remains as it stands as an important example and principle of magic.
Whether you want to consider these biblical stories true or not isn't as important as the ideas that they convey in the creation of an item.
As directed from/through a living being into an item that's otherwise without thought, consciousness or life and also that this item is given a reason for its existence/creation.
Here you have a noticeable reason for a wand to be created or crafted from a wooden stick. Stop and look at a stick.
You may look at a stick and say that it has no particular energy that you can observe.
However if you light that same stick on fire it will release a great deal of energy and leave behind only a small amount of ashes.
Was the energy in the fire?
No it was contained in the stick and the burning released a bulk of the energy that the stick contained naturally by using the fire.
By looking at what it began as and the ash that it left behind. It was mostly contained energy.
But in order to actually see that energy you had to light the stick on fire. Provable. Self-evident. This is an obvious fact.
Each element has a way of releasing energies from different items around our planet. I've just mentioned one of a great many.
In order for a wand to have potent power it needs to be created and infused with the proper intention and thoughts, acquired by the earned knowledge of its creator.
The old knowledge equals power theory.
This energy is applied for a specific reason and contains a particular and specific vibration that's unique to the person that decided to transform this item from a normal, everyday
piece of a tree. Into a specially crafted tool used for an exact and specific purpose.
So, you see, even if you find a wand made by a powerful and historical magician and this wand was created by this amazing person with all these fantastic powers, those
powers (vibrations and knowledge) still didn't originate from you and it's merely a basically inanimate item until you use your own abilities, with your own knowledge,
containing your own specific vibrations and energies, to apply the specific technology for the desired effects to actually manifest.
There are upcoming areas for wand related details and each will reveal more of the workings and details of this highly fabled item of magic and lore.
