About runes: There is a great deal of conjecture and hypothesis on this subject. The earliest recorded information concerning runes date back to years after Christ. 

There are some indications of the existence in other forms that date back to the 1st millennium before Christ but specific evidence is thin.

It appears that the cultures that created the alphabet of runes have different eras and are termed by elder and younger.

The first letters of the alphabet are f-u-th-a-r-k and so this is what the runes were called (Futhark-Futhork) as a series of symbols known as an alphabet.

Because of this fact there are different styles of lettering in these separate cultures of runic development German-Swedish-Danish-Norwegian, all

being from a similar geographical are and using different forms of the symbols known today as runes.

After the overpowering of Northern Europe by the Christian zealots (freak-a-zoids), runes have been considered a pagan item and are still used in Wiccan ritual and crafts today.

The runes, since their start, were associated to hidden truths and secrets and so are used regularly for divination. I've found them to be a effective tool and a potent item.

Even the meaning of the word rune itself derived from the German word (raunen) meaning to whisper.

Gebo: This rune has the related association of union and partnership.

It deals with every kind of partnership from having a loved one to raising children to working in a business and also your own personal work with your self.

It's one of the few runes that's not seen in reverse, of course, because reversed it's still the same.

It also relates a caution from obsession in that you need to care enough for yourself in order to actually give care to others. 

Considering the first union of the lower self to the higher Self. (Capitalized to show a greater nature.) The once there is fruit on your tree you can move to the next union in the

caring for others. Not unlike educating yourself prior to getting a job or teaching others.  If you have no idea of what you are doing you will not do it very well or teach it very

well. Asking, What's the issue at hand and how does this partnership apply? Are your reasons for this question un-selfish or purely personal?

Is there enough fruit on your tree or could you do something to fortify this partnership? What is that?

Also what has been given to you and what have you actually worked for?
