Hathor, Aphrodite, Venus, Frigg
Hathor: Very female Egyptian goddess.
Every woman wanted to aspire to the great heights of Hathor in femininity, a lover, mother, wife, caretaker, home provider, not only the ultimate mother but also woman for her
man. Loving music, dance, merriment and sex. She epitomized the strengths of womanhood.
There are a great number of myths written about her that I won't get into, but she was associated to the Milky Way as far back as 5000 years ago (Egyptian) and also said to give
birth to Ra (Sun) every morning. You can tell who Hathor is in the carvings and statues of her, by the orb (circle) centered above her head in between two long curved horns.
Being associated with fertility lead people to also associate her to the cow and so she is one of the first cow gods seen or carved in ancient times.
(With a circle on it's head.) photo's will be added
But she was no cow by today's standards she was considered amazingly beautiful, fox, hot, fine, exotic and all woman.
Aphrodite: Here is one sexy mama as goddesses go.
She was fabled in a great number of Greek stories all of them having to do with sex and love.
She was one of the hottest and promiscuous as well and into mostly everything with a sex organ attached to it.
She loved to use her power over men's lust to make them do things that she wanted them to do.
Prostitution is very effective for the mindset of Aphrodite and on the holy days it was customary to stop by the temple, have sex with the priestess's and leave an offering behind (No
pun intended).
Made for some pretty interesting parties then and still does today.
Let's just say that if you're invited to an Aphrodite party, attire won't be an issue.
I'm sure an orgy was similar but the focus was different (for some) the party for the goddess was more female oriented than the common orgy was.
That's the purpose of the festival in the first place. So it was sex but it was not just and only sex.
Venus: Who hasn't heard of Venus? How about a Roman orgy or even Venus in fishnets?
Of course it's not all about sex these days and there are more controlled ways to look at the nature of things.
But things were a bit different back then and IÕm sure there were plenty of toga parties thrown in the name of Venus but August 18th was the big day for the festival.
Venus is obviously the most popular worldwide and everything I have said about these other goddesses applies to her.
She is the Roman version of Aphrodite.
She has had her own cults and festivals for hundreds of years BC and, of course still has them today.
A lot of energy has been projected in her direction, very intense energy for thousands of years.
Then there were different types of Venus as the years went on she developed a whole vast group of Venus's.
Each name representing an aspect of woman and patron goddesses for all natures of feminity and sex from mothering to prostitution from peaceful to angry if a woman has a way
the Romans gave it a name and built a temple for it.
I counted at least thirteen different names that Venus has but there's no great point in listing them here, you get the idea.
Frigg: This Norse goddess was a great mother, beautiful and known for her ability to see into the future.
Wife to Odin and considered a first lady of the god.
She was known to be in control while letting her husband think that he was.
She was passed around a few times and has been a little kinky with her husband's brother but don't let her fool you.
Here is also the Viking warrior mother caring for her family and tending to the earth. This is not a wimpy mom here.
She'll kill a wild bear with a knife, if it's to save her own children and castrate her husband if she found him cheating.
If she wants she can cheat on him, that's fine, but not the other way around.
Beauty and muscle are her strengths, she is a tender of the soil and this leads to one tough Swede.
Then again she has a wild side too as evidenced in tales of old.
