Venus
I'm going to cover a little of the planetary influence of Venus because the details that you've just covered are all a part of it.
So far in this chapter I'm pretty sure you get the general gist of the subject matter and how all of this correlates to our lives.
Each in different ways, but in some way, each detail relates to every person on the planet.
As I mentioned about the playing cards we use being based from the tarot I should also say that a planet's location in a constellation has a lot to do with the suit on the card itself and
how it relates to a persons life. Sounds weird but I will clarify it.
There are 7 planets listed and 12 astrological signs. Each planet enters a different sign as it moves through the galaxy.
In life we all have common realities like if you put your finger in a flame.
Or even emotions of happiness, sadness, worry, grief, joy, stress. These are all common to all lives.
Ok that being said, when a planet enters a constellation it relates to an emotion of our own like I just listed.
Not only emotions but personal achievements also like victory, defeat, completion, success and luxury to name a few others.
Ruin, sorrow and failure are more and they all have to do with a planets position in the area (field) of a constellation.
These emotions relate to each one of the minor arcane cards in the tarot, which also correspond to regular playing cards.
For instance when Venus is in Cancer it represents love and is given to the three of cups (3 of hearts) card.
Venus in Aquarius, five of spades/swords, defeat. Venus in Virgo, nine of clubs, (nine of disks) gain.
I'll place a list in the index section.
The point is that the same planet can represent different aspects depending on its location within another field of influence.
The constellation is the field of influence.
So the aspects and associations that you read about in this entire chapter have to do with all of the different forms of this influence from this planet, Venus.
That's what it is but I'm not going to list all of the signs versus all of the planets and their interrelated correspondences.
Just the thirty-six that relate to the tarot card system.
Venus associates to one major arcane card and four minor arcane cards and those are, completion, defeat, debauchery and gain.
All four separate aspects of Venus's influences as it is listed in the tarot.
I'm not going to tell you it's the fourth planet from the sun or that it appears as the first and only star for a while at dusk.
Not even that cavemen threw rocks at it.
I've explained what I think matters in this reference.
