Burin, Horns, Energy

The Burin: A burin is a tool for carving and etching.  You could call anything you scratch, scrape or carve with a burin. 

A rock or a stick can be used as a burin as long as you're carving or scratching shapes with it. How can a carving tool be used as a weapon?

Like the girdle can be but the burin carves and scrapes.  What are you gonna do, carve me up!?

It's more like what you carve and where you carve it. 

Your intention behind carving it, which has everything to do with your purposes and then of course you need to throw in your personal awareness level.

Carving symbols to create effects runs back to the beginning of mankind. Some were for telling stories and some were for blessings, curses and talismans.

But you can be sure that they were all for a reason. Whenever you decide to have tools of the temple and you consecrate them it's advisable to first of all, create each item by hand,

but you'll probably go out and buy one.

So when you buy your cup for the temple, see to it that you will be able to carve into the material. 

Metal, wood and stone work fine just so long as you are going to be able to scratch the surface with your burin.

Horns: Well what have we here? Could it be Satan? 

Well no actually it has nothing to do with evil really but it does have to do with energy. Powerful and extremely intense energy surrounds a persons body all of the time.

You can feel this energy if you walk up to someone that doesn't want to talk to you. It's a ridge.  It's like a force field that they have put up to keep you away from them.

Kirlian photography shows the field of energy surrounding an item. This field of energy can be strengthened in a body and actually become visible.

It appears as a halo around the head but it thins at the top giving the appearance of horns on the head. 

So you don't need to run out and shoot the old bull to get his horns or search the second hand shops for mounted antlers.

Just work on increasing the charge in your battery and don't freak out when you see it.

Energy: Pretty much goes hand in hand with what I just mentioned but this again is a weapon that is directly focused to a pinpoint.

Go outside and look at people and you'll see all sorts of different energies that are projected from each person. 

Some look more positive and some more negative some more attractive and some less attractive.

Your might say you're observing appearances, dress and mannerisms and that's true but you're also viewing the energy of the person along with all of that.

One guy looks homeless and ragged but is in a great mood, pleasant and courteous and another guy has on a thousand dollar suit, slumped down in his chair and scowling at his

shoes. Which one of these guys do you want to hang out with?

Energy goes farther than the basic concept of pure power.  Of course it's that as well, but to get a grip on it seems to be quite a trick. Is it as easy as I just said?

Well I'll ask you if you control your moods or do you allow other things to control your moods. What does your mood have to do with energy?

I'll just say that changing your mood can turn you into an immediately powerful magician. Mix your knowledge and experience, toss in a little mood and your good to go.

I'll have to say that it's my greatest failing, returning to what I was raised as.

The common denominator for mood is the past: commonly it is. What is happening in the here and now is the alteration to your present mood.

How you let things affect your energy, determines your energy. How you see your energy, affects your energy.

It is listed here as a weapon. It can be in part as a mix of things or it can be all by itself.

It comes in a vast multitude of forms and concepts.  What's most important is why you would use it, aside from that you can use it.

One minor detail (if there are any) is the surrounding energy that you have created for energy itself within your sphere of influence.

You can call to the Angels of the Watchtowers to surround you (within your sphere) through what is called a Supreme Invocation ritual or you can call them to surround you outside

of your circle called a supreme Evocation ritual.

Once again bear in mind the term angel can stand for any intense energy form that you are in some way familiar with or desire to achieve working with.
