Plant: Tiger lily, Geranium

Tiger Lily: Surprisingly the tiger lily has been used as a food source by American Indians.

The flower has been considered to have great strengths for protection and power and very often-placed in sachets and potpourri mixtures.

If you gather petals from any plant for creating your own mixture you will want to pick the leaves within two days after the last rainfall and do not let them dry in the sun.

Mix them with some salt and wrap them on a breathing cloth, like cheesecloth.

Dry your selected petals separately and store them in sealed jars and do not use damaged petals.

Geranium: The geranium is a flower that grows in just about any soil that it isn't totally water logged.
