Path #16 -Chokma-Wisdom to Chesed-Mercy
Here on this path we make a determination of what beauty is both in the spiritual form and in the physical form.
To be able to see our selves as beautiful and define for ourselves what is beautiful around us and within the sphere of our perceptions.
If you've lived any length of time then you have made mistakes and some people hold these against themselves, I would say all people but some feel responsible for nothing.
Being able to forgive yourself for your own failings is a common stumbling block for most people.
Being cognizant of our failings and forgiving ourselves of our own defeats and weaknesses.
As we all see things with a different light we also have separate prospective that meet with what we have set for personal standards as beauty.
Here the issues that are brought to light are those of mercy, goodness and choice. Dealing with the feelings of desire and affection, soft subtle and tender.
It can also be seen as another tentacle from the spirit to the body as it connects within the aura and it's field.
Not only in dealing with the singular feelings of ourselves but the expected feelings of other entities that we are in contact with or are within our sphere of influence.
If what you are seeing on this path isn't soft and graceful and in some way a union with another, then you are in the wrong place.
This is not an area for the warrior types although they may use it if they're on vacation. This is a place where the spirit meets the body in a good way or all good ways.
Mercy means more than just having the upper hand. In the final analysis it's giving yourself and others a break.
The opposite of this would be self-flagellation and denigration which stems from the prior abuse from others to suppress someone and this suppression eventually being agreed with
by the person being oppressed and in these cases I have personally seen the tables turn every time,
although it may take a while it always turns around and it isn't always the case of the oppressed being the oppressor.
No usually the one that was oppressed would rather not see that in another person and turns out to be more merciful but then there are the cases where the person adopts the persona
of the oppressor and is as bad or even worse at this job.
There are millions of these cases, as we tend also to display the behavior patterns of those that we grew up around and it is being aware of the deficits of those persons and their
negative behavior patterns that can become an edge and benefit because you are aware of that which you do not want to become.
Having appreciation for what you are and what is around you with the awareness that even the veins of a leaf can show you the simple complexities and awesome beauty of
everything in all nature(s) by your own glance and reflection.
