Tourmaline, Rose Quartz, Alexandrite

Tourmaline: Birthstone for October. I would advise looking through collections of tourmaline pieces that are on the web and looking at the

nature of the growth of this crystal is pretty cool alone. There is a lot of silicon in tourmaline and they are often clustered in quartz crystals at the bases and around the sides.

They grow in long connected shafts varying in coloration and have a very fascinating look to them and form colonel clusters to almost look like a city of crystals.

Tourmaline's magical properties are stated as the stones are commonly stated for protection, love, peace, longevity, healing, etc. but astral projection is a difference for this crystal and

strength in battle is also. As with any precious or semi-precious stone it can be worn in any manner imaginable.

Rose Quartz: This is the absolutely all time favorite of all stones for magical and energy form working with stones or crystals.

The books that are written concerning the use of these crystalline deposits are vast and varied for every purpose imaginable up to and including communicating with aliens, angels,

ghosts, demons, the president! That's nice and all but I am just bringing up the fact that they're pretty popular.

The reasons people have found to use these things and the masses adamant behavior has come from their experimentation and the results that they experienced (or claimed to have).

So some are just trying to make a buck with all of the ologies that they studied and taught in college and some are actually trying to make the world a better place.

I guess they actually do each make the world better despite their initial motives as long as they are advancing the reader in some way and sought information is being gained.

But with the quartz crystal I have used and loved their conceptual capabilities as a stone for many years, been privy to knowledge through them and seen intense transfers with them

but its an on again off again relationship for myself and in my life.

Your own feelings concerning any given detail; like when you pick up a crystal and put it to your forehead, are what gives rise to any outward occurrence(s) in my opinion.

I don't discount any of the stories concerning quartz crystal as I see it as the beginning of a genus of crystals, in many ways it is, but the importance of the item is of course it's actual

effect created through the application of information about it.

If you use crystals then my suggestion to you is to have each for it's own purpose and if you have more than one purpose then have more than one crystal.

Placing in a ritual bath, placing upon an alter, placing in a tea or drink, placing upon the fore head, placing under the mattress, placing in the corner of a room, using with the chakras,

using with the aura, using with the central nervous system, seeing through etchings on a ball of it or wearing it around the neck I say any that are intended to be used be used for the

one reason they were purchased or consecrated.

Alexandrite: Birthstone for June (with Emerald). This stone is interesting because it can change color depending on the light it is under.

In the daylight it appears a clear green and when under an incandescent light it will appear red.

It is cut much like the Emerald is cut and polished and set in all forms of jewelry like any other precious or semi-precious gemstone.

The natures of this stone when worn would be strongly addressed by the overall details of this card. Like luck, friendship, union, partnership, stability, family.

It's a good choice to give to a loved one or promote closer feelings from a partner. It was actually first discovered and named in the 1700's AD and that's not to say that it was not used

by someone but it was first documented at this time.
