7_05...........Kephera, Apollo, Mercury, Njord
Kephera: The privilege of duty would be one of the key statements here with this association of Kephera as the devotion to cause and
agreement that the cause is honorable, noble and worthy of action have everything to do with Kephera as I see it here.
As repeated so many times the viewpoint creates the final outcome and the truthful associations with something like Kephera should be
understood as they have been accumulating power for an extreme amount of time.
WWKD (What Would Kephera Do?) is actually the basic reality of the idea here and this should apply to all of the god associations that
exist here in this work.
Not to look at the persona from a distance like figure on the distant mountaintop but to actually see how this entity works within your own nature(s).
You can relate in this way to friends that you are or have been close to and this is the same thought and feeling within yourself here as each
god has a purpose of sorts and this purpose was for improvement and betterment in some way or another and all of these combined powers
can be reflected in some way through our own existence.
Apollo: Greek and Roman Apollo is the son of Jupiter and Leto, and the twin brother of Diana.
He is the god of music, playing a golden lyre.
Known as the far shooting archer with the silver bow and the healer who taught medicine to mankind. The god of light and truth and he cannot speak a lie.
One of Apollo's more important daily tasks is to harness his chariot with four horses and drive the Sun across the sky.
He is famous for his oracle at Delphi. People traveled to it from all over the Greek world to divine the future. His tree was the laurel. His bird is the crow. The dolphin is his animal.
Mercury: Mentioned earlier as a god of trade, travelers, merchants and trade. Mercury's main festival, the Mercuralia, was celebrated on
May 15 and on this day the merchants sprinkled their heads and their merchandise with water from his well near the Porta Capena, Rome.
The symbols of Mercury are the caduceus (a staff with two intertwined snakes) and a purse (a symbol of his connection with commerce) He
communicates communication itself as a symbol.
Njord: This Norse God was someone you wanted on your side when headed out to sea as he controlled the winds, seas and fire.
He and his wife also presided over sacrifices and their children were Freya and Freyr.
