The Secret of Faith.
Another subject of much controversy
It, to me , is not very simple.
Believe, it works. Don't and it doesn't.
I wish that it were that easy.
I think I would be a "Quad-zillionare" by now if it were true.
Faith in the system can work.
Faith in a Supreme being can work.
Faith in the power of the sub-conscious can work.
I guess the common denominator is that Faith in something, tends to work.
It is not a matter of success in a material nature.
As much as a constant conditioning for your next step in life.
I believe that the turmoils or our lives are which strengthens our over all resolve.
That all things happen to an eventual positive resolution.
You should consider that as difficult as some times may seem,
that the final reason is for your strength to handle what lies up ahead.
My experiences for faith seem to be communicated by a thinking entity.
If you believe that you have faith in "nothing".
I would ask you to consider whether you believe that anyone is better at playing the piano than you.
Or if there is anyone better at carving wood, or juggling or cooking or anything at all.
And if you were to answer that you were the best at all these things.
Then I would have to consider that you are a HIGHER POWER.
Especially a higher power than I.
But if you were to consider that someone, somewhere, is more capable, then you have admitted a higher power.
If we were to believe that a candle will not burn our finger when the finger is set into the flame.
Our belief will not change the fact that the finger is burned and charred by the flame.
You may deny that the finger hurt like hell.
But you cannot change the truth of a severely burned finger.
For some odd reason I have had people tell me that I gave them (or helped them find) faith
When in fact all I did was to mention that they might pay closer attention to "signs".
I definitely didn't give them any "signs" myself.
But, I guess for some reason, signs were given to these people, right after it was mentioned to them.
The only reason that I personally have faith (in this intelligent 'thing') is evidence.
Personal evidence. Over and over and over again.
If not for that I would have no faith at all!
I do not convince people to have faith. That's their business.
But to my observation, faith does seem to move mountains.
And help to overcome tremendous obstacles.
Some of the most fantastic things that I have seen have been preceded by "behold the power of God"
Once again I am not necessarily advocating that you should believe in God.
That again is your business. But the issue here is FAITH
Whatever your faith may entail, it is still faith.
And has a tremendous power within.
The secret of faith is to have it.
I also believe that it must be proven.
And will be if you request proof..
The power that it allows you cannot be accurately described in words.
Let IT show faith to you.
And if you already have it, then know that it is one of your greatest powers.
