Q. What is an "Elemental" ?
A creature.
Pretty invisible, but not always.
Can be self created.(You can make them.)
Self made are of "Feelings of the element, contained, named and given a time of birth and a time of death and a reason for living and the power to do so for long enough to carry out it's tasks and then disipate back from whence it came.
Now there are many forms of long empowered Great Elemental spirits that you can also extract works from
You are given to be the controller
Ghandi states that "Violence is imposing your will upon another."
This is something to be considered
When working with elementals.
Basically your "power" can be contained and given thought and direction.
And that is an elemental.
