You merely-think (at most people) and they will not respond.
If you make a noise, you can call there attention, and they may react.
You can make them react with "sound" the "vibration" that you have just put into the atmosphere.
But they will commonly not react to the thought being merely directed at them.(That's people.)
And what the hell does this have to do with the written word?
Speaking has to do with a decision to manifest thoughts and to put them into the physical universe. This has a very similar respect to thoughts that writing has.
In that it places a none physical entity (thought) into a physical entity (written word).
So now it has evolved from an un-noticeable position (the mind) to a noticeable position(the page) the basis of creation itself.
I know that this all seems so very simple but it is a widely over looked fact.
The fact that you "materialize" by writing is much deeper than it first seems.
What were you thinking? What was your meaning? What did you intend?
What was the reason that many of the ancient philosophers and prophets were told "by God"
To only speak and not to write, but to only speak the wisdom they were Given.
What have you ever seen written by Jesus?
What have you ever seen written by Moses?
(To name only a couple of many, many, throughout history, of all walks.)
I will tell you that there were good reasons for this fact.
But time goes on and we evolve with the occurances of our "times".
We are brought up with the writing skills and it is nothing to scribble letters and symbols all day long.We are taught that "it really doesn't have that much meaning".That only the concept of the word is important. So we, of course do not give it that much meaning or notice.
But in the days that you could be executed for writing the "sacred letters".
The people of the times sure had alot of meaning...death!
This is definitely something that ought to be considered when working your magic.
Carefully considered.
In your works of meditation you will "be told" things.
You may even be told in your meditations and visitations not to write particular things. This can be a bit difficult considering that you keep a detailed journal of your experiences.I have gotten around this by stating that "the entity did not want me to say... (then put it in my hyro-glyphics")But more for the person who is into magick the written word is to ground.
To assist the release (and capture) of energy(s) that would otherwise affect your universe otherwise.
This is an important reason to write your journals.
GROUNDING
One of many, but still a very good one.
(Unless your really "hooked up" and really into "showing off your halo")
Ground and Make Manifest!
A way to relate this concept most easily..Is the effect you may have
felt after an "intense" dream. How the "feeling" of the dream "hangs on"
for either a short while.Or even for the rest of the day.
Had this dream been written down..It's energy would have been grounded into the con
tent and emotions of the words written
And there are more reasons and reprocusions from writing words.
It is a very valuable tool in the creation of things. Still writing....come back soon to see the end....
